With more open reqs than ever, MURAL’s VP of Talent Acquisition, Yvette Kamperin, had to scale the organization, while continuing to find and hire great people. In order to meet their goals and stay competitive in a candidate’s market, it was clear that they needed to implement process changes, and find creative ways for hiring managers, interviewers, and recruiters to get on the same page quickly.
Yvette turned to BrightHire to help the MURAL team transform its hiring process.
High-volume roles fill the MURAL team’s calendars with multiple interviews every day. With recruiters and interviewers spending time in back-to-back interviews, remembering the nuances of each conversation proved challenging.
BrightHire enabled leaders across MURAL to watch interview highlights asynchronously before moving candidates forward in the hiring process. The interview reviews allowed key stakeholders to weigh-in quickly before scheduling full interviews, and helped them get buy-in to move faster with the best candidates. Yvette and functional leaders at MURAL could now better assess a candidate’s fit and capabilities and ensure that only high-quality candidates advanced to the next round. Recruiters also learned more about what hiring managers were looking for in candidates. As a result, they moved fewer unqualified candidates to the next stage, and hiring managers saved valuable time by avoiding unnecessary interviews.
